Please allow me to remind you that the Fifth Amendment to our Constitution provides that "NO PERSON SHALL BE DEPRIVED OF LIFE, LIBERTY, OR PROPERTY, WITHOUT DUE PROCESS." The 14th Amendment applies it to all U.S. states. "Procedural standards must be upheld by the courts in order to protect people's personal liberty and a range of liberty interests THAT STATUTES AND REGULATIONS MUST NOT INFRINGE." Shall I add that the late Senator Joseph Mc Carthy had his list of over 200 communists who supposedly worked for the State Department. Many lives and careers were destroyed. Mac Carthy ended up being censured by the Senate!!!!! America is a great country. It will always fly high!!!

I have taught U.S. History, Civics an U.S. Government. I am confident that the roles of each branch of the U.S. government and the Constitution of the USA will always be respected! I have discussed these topics as current events in my U.S. History class. I think that it is important to state the facts correctly. There is no ban on all majority islamic countries. There is a temporary ban on 7 countries. It is my understanding that the list is a left over from the previous administration. Taking another look at international agreements involving the USA in order to have a win/win situation is not a bad thing. I have hard time understanding why my taxes should be used to pay for the defense of a rich country like Germany. Factories should stay in America to create jobs and strengthen the tax base of communities in America. The leadership role of America is still needed in the world. It is my opinion that we should continue to play that role to the best of our ability without losing sight of the interests of our own country. Having lived in Arizona for many years, I saw the wall between Nogales, Arizona and Nogales, Sonora. I saw with my own eyes people climbing the wall. It is my opinion that instead of spending 60 billions dollars to build a wall between our country and Mexico, I would be better to help Mexico to strengthen its economy. IF Mexicans have a strong economy in their country, they will not find it necessary to go somewhere else looking for a better life. We are not talking about building a wall between the USA and Canada because the economy in Canada is strong. Unlike Mexicans, Canadians do not have to leave their country in search of a better life in foreign countries.
